"Ulrik Elholms 'Ulrik' contains lyrics and dreamy melodies all of which culminate in a recurring theme of love.

 

The EP opens with the single "Army of Angels' which is already in rotation on P4. It welcomes us to a universe with both happy, but also sad love songs where Ulrik's beautiful voice quickly gets one to feel at home.

 

He has not been all alone, as Ulrik has teamed up with some experienced musicians including guests such as violinist Jim Sitterly (Avatar, Lost,) and  the legendary vocal group The Drifers.

 

The entire EP was written, produced and recorded in Canada, where Ulrik took the money collected by fans from Japan, Amsterdam, Lyon - yes, from all over the world. The journey was a challenge Ulrik had given himselv, and the result is charming.

'Lost without you',  in my opinion, is a beautiful number.
