Kevin Hearn’s newest musical offering brings together myriad musical collaborators to present music from superhero books and films. The Persuasions deliver a stirring a cappella performance of the Beach Boys classic, Heroes and Villains. Other highlights include Waiting For a Superman (Rheostatics), Can You Read My Mind (Mary Margaret O’Hara), Transformers (Ron Sexsmith) and Batman (Violent Femmes, Barenaked Ladies and Colin Hay). Kevin Hearn’s fingerprints are all over this one. He is the creative glue that binds it all together into a seamless fifteen-minute suite.
